It has a row of dog holes on six inch centers running the full length of the bench. Collecting sanding dust at its source is always best. Sanding dust collection is not limited to the physical size of the downdraft grid. This bench offering 2550 CFM has a downdraft sanding area equivalent to that of a 40" x 78" downdraft table due to the grid layout and a high face velocity. Sanding dust is collected before it becomes airborne and before you can breathe it. This is a huge health benefit as can be seen by the adverse conditions caused by inhaling wood dust.
